Who we are

We’re so glad you found us! Now, let us tell you a little more about what makes No.2 Vance the perfect downtown Memphis event venue for your next gathering. As a family-owned and operated venue, we take pride in being a welcoming, versatile, and affordable space Memphis families and groups have come to trust. Our customers will tell you—we go the extra mile to accommodate every special event.

Located in the historic Ballard & Ballard Co. Obelisk Flour Building, No.2 Vance carries a rich legacy. Our building once housed H&S Printing, a local printing company started by the Sansing family that served the community for over 80 years. While we’ve transitioned from printing to hosting events, our commitment to serving our community remains strong. With plans to renovate the unused print shop portion of our building, we’re excited to soon offer even more space for larger events.

Here’s what makes No.2 Vance stand out:

Natural Beauty: Our venue features an elegant ballroom with high ceilings, hardwood floors, and plenty of natural light. The spacious deck overlooking the Mississippi River adds a scenic touch to any event.

All-Inclusive: We believe in keeping things simple. That’s why we provide tables, chairs, and linens at no extra cost, making your event planning just a little bit easier.

Non-Exclusive: We understand the importance of personal choice. That’s why we don’t have vendor restrictions—bring any licensed service provider you like to make your event uniquely yours.

Affordable: Everyone deserves to celebrate their special moments without breaking the bank. We offer fair and reasonable pricing, with no hidden fees. Plus, we’re proud to support our community by offering discounts to non-profits and local groups.

From weddings to baby showers to business meetings, No.2 Vance is here to provide a beautiful, comfortable space for Memphians to gather. We love Memphis, and it’s our privilege to be a part of your lives and celebrations. We look forward to making memories together.
